At South Marston, we use Ready, Safe, Respect as our main three school expectations. All members of staff will reguarly remind children about these expectations through class discussions, reminders and assemblies. At South Marston, we refer to our school expectations as behaviour characters. All members of the South Marston team recieve regular updates and training regarding positive behaviour, classroom mangement and expectations. Please see the policies page of this school website for a more indepth document about our appoach to behaviour, attitudes and culture at our school.

After a successful trial, we have introduced the Class Dojo reward points system into our school. Used across many schools, Class Dojo allows staff to award positive behaviour points to children's characters. Classes work together to gain points for an end of term treat. Staff award points for various reasons, including: showing school values, manners, kindness, effort of work, participation, being helpful and team work.
