Who We Are

Foundation Members

Vacancy

Karl Glover (Since October 2018)

I have lived in Swindon since the mid-1980's and both my children were born and educated in Swindon although they did not go to this school.  I am really privileged to represent the PCC as a Foundation Member of the school and look forward to supporting the school and the Head in promoting its quality of education based on its religious background.

Ex-Officio Foundation Member

Rachel Jones (Since January 2022)

I live in South Marston and 2 of my children currently attend this school. I’m an active member of St Mary Magdalene’s in South Marston and look for ways to support and strengthen the close link with school, church and wider community. I’m a trained primary teacher with experience working in Early Years and Key Stage 1 at a number of schools in Devon and Swindon. I feel privileged to be able to support our children and staff to encourage each other and flourish in this school.

Ben Lovelock (Since May 2011)

I have lived in South Marston since 2010 and have been a governor since 2011. Both of my children have attended South Marston Primary School. Professionally I work as a management consultant specialising in conflict resolution in war torn countries. The skills I bring as a governor are a strategic perspective and significant experience of leadership and management in the public sector. I am actively involved in planning for our school's future and I am keen to foster our relationships with the community.

Alison Robb-Webb (Since February 2016) - Chair

I have been governor since February 2016 and became Chair of Governors in September 2018 having previously acted as Vice Chair.  I bring to the role over 25 years’ experience in education, having previously been a teacher and part of school leadership teams working to raise standards in partnership with the staff, school and parent communities we serve. I now run my own company specialising in leadership coaching and school improvement.  I am proud to be a governor and keen to ensure that your children benefit from the opportunities our school offers and the values we promote.
